My, how they've grown!

Thank you for coming out to The Barnyard for
Outdoor Wednesday
hosted by Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer.

In just a few short weeks, the new flock has gone from this...

...to this!

Two babies have taken up new residence
with my two granddaughters who love
eggs!

Too cute!

My daughter Sarah's hens (+ 1 rooster!) are growing quickly also - she has 28 of them. About 6 of them will be staying with our 6 hens, the rest she will sell in a couple of months when they are laying!

Enjoy this wet & cool spring day in the Northwest my friend!

Blessings!

Chickens are so much fun to raise. It was so nice to see yours, today!! How wonderful for you that you have the chance to raise animals on a farm. I loved that life while growing up.

How wonderful Raeann!! OH to have fresh eggs just outside the door!! :) I just bought a month's supply of eggs on my Southern shopping trip today...I have to be careful not to covet like Sharon. ;-)

Blessings,
Camille

The covenants in my neighborhood do not allow chickens. :(

So fun to see these photos. They bring back memories of when my grandpa raised chickens and we used to feed them and collect eggs.

I love the print on your profile picture, of the woman and the hens. Do you know who it's by?
