There once was a forlorn old rusty
chicken feeder and an old
concrete drainage pipe
overgrown with 'hens & chicks'.
The plants were removed from the pipe...
and joined the old chicken feeder...
in a happy union that sits in front of the
chicken house!
'Hens & Chicks'/Chicken Feeder/Chicken House!
I had to do it ~ it just seemed right!
Joining these hops~

Dear Lady Farmer,
What a perfect place for hens and chicks! I love your way of putting old things to good use.

I love it! Hens and chicks! Yes, it is perfect. I have a water that rusted that I put flowers in, but why didn't I think of Hens and chicks by the barn? LOL !! Love it!

I grew up with my mom's hens and chicks. When the home they rented was sold , she had so many chicks. I remember one of the gals from my church went and dug up a bunch for her house. I have so many. Mine would be the off spring of my mother's and so hens and chicks are over 50 yrs. old. I have them in the front , side, and back yard. wonderful memories from your pictures.
I love your "antique" style.
Yup, I think the Hens and Chicks found their rightful home. How perfect is that? Thanks for sharing your cute feeder with Share Your Cup.
Hugs,
Jann
This is just the the most perfect idea!
Love these - my mother-in-law has some and I would just love them too - I love the chicken and chicks graphic! I appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy
Well that is a FUN idea!! I just planted a whole brood myself, but nothing as cute as this!
Thanks for the garden comments! My garden really has no plan, it has structure plantings, then the seeds fall where they may :-)
Do you want Toadflax seeds? They are prolific, if so drop me an e-mail, I'd be glad to share :-)
Hugs,
Bella
